RIT Community Service Fair

We will be one of more than 30 organizations on hand, sharing our mission with RIT students. ASL interpreters will be on hand, and each attendee receives a free Java’s token.
UHS LGBTQ+ Resource Fair

Sponsored by U of R’s University Health Services, this annual fair provides students a chance to learn about groups and programs geared toward the LGBTQ+ community, both on and off campus. Learn more about UHS’s LGBTQ+ health offerings and commitment.

LGBTQ Leadership Lecture & Dinner

The Paul J. Burgett Intercultural Center presents our Spring 2024 Lorri L. Jean and Darrel Cummings LGBTQ Leadership Lecture Series featuring Kris Hayashi on February 21, 2024 at 6pm. This event will be in-person in the Feldman Ballroom in Frederick Douglass Commons. Dinner is provided by Salena’s Mexican Restaurant.
Kris Hayashi, Director of Advocacy and Action for the National LGBTQ Task Force, an organization that for over 50 years has built power, taken action, and created change to achieve freedom, justice, and equity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people. Prior to this role, Kris was the Former Executive Director at the Transgender Law Center. Kris Hayashi has over 20 years of movement building, leadership and organizing experience. As a public transgender person of color, Kris has been a leader in movements for justice and rights for transgender and gender nonconforming communities for over a decade.

NYLinks Traveling Conference on HIV Care

We’re excited to host this conference focused on strategies for HIV healthcare, presented by NYS DOH’s AIDS Institute’s NYLinks, here at URMC. There will be 15 sessions related to quality improvement, regional improvement and planning around issues related to HIV, HCV, STI and drug user health delivery systems.
